The Summer School will be held from Monday, June 23 through Friday, June 27.

The summer school will take place in Lausanne on the EPFL campus (precise room to come). EPFL is located next to Lac Léman (about 10 minutes by foot) and is easily accessible by public transport.

We strongly recommend that you travel to Lausanne by train when feasible. Lausanne is very well-connected by public transport and you will find all the necessary information to plan your commute and buy public transport tickets on the SBB app or SBB website.

Arriving by train 

• From Lausanne train station by metro m2 towards Croisettes, get off at Lausanne-Flon  – change – by metro m1 towards Renens gare : EPFL stop

Arriving by plane

• From Geneva airport by train to Lausanne train station, then as above. Some trains from Geneva also stop at Renens gare, which is closer to EPFL. If you stop at Renens you can take m1 towards Lausanne Flon.

Accommodation is included in the summer school registration fees. Students will be hosted in local hotels. By default all students outside EPFL and UNIL can require accommodation. In special cases where EPFL or UNIL students require a place to stay, please write to us at: evolution2025@epfl.ch
